Benching & Supplies: Double cage size is 44″L x 22″W x 22″H. All cages must be covered on the sides and top. You may want to bring a rug, blanket, etc. for the bottom of the cage and other items to help your cat feel more comfortable. No more than one adult cat or 2 kittens are allowed per single cage and 2 cats OR 3 kittens in a double cage. You will need to bring litter pan(s), food/water bowls, and food. Litter will be provided.
TICA Show Rules: This show is scored for TICA Regional and International awards.
Entry Fees: All entry and miscellaneous fees are due and payable to It's Reigning Cats within 24 hours after receiving your email confirmation. By entering the show, you agree to pay ALL fees, whether you attend the show or bench any cats/kittens. There will be a $35 fee for returned payments. NO REFUNDS! Once an entry or service has been received, substitutions may be made until one week prior to the show (September 5). Withdrawal from the show does not entitle the entrant to a refund of any kind. Any excess payment will be considered a donation to the show.
SHOW DETAILS: This is a Non-Vetted show. Per TICA Standing Rule 205.3-205.3.5: Any cat/kitten showing signs of illness, parasites, or fungus will be escorted from the Show Hall. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline enteritis. All entries should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Rabies vaccination is mandatory in the State of Oregon. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days prior to the first day of the show is ineligible for competition. TICA Show Rules require all claws (front AND back) be clipped prior to showing. Cats obviously pregnant, or lactating will be disqualified.
TICA Show Rules:
- All claws of each entry shall be clipped prior to benching. Failure to do so may subject entry to disqualification. Cats or kittens obviously pregnant are ineligible for competition.
- A cat not having all physical properties, such as eyes, ears, legs, tail (except as specified in breed standards), are ineligible for entry except in the alter classes or household pet classes.
- Household pets must be registered with TICA and judged by properly licensed judges in order to earn TICA titles and compete for Annual Awards.
- Cats entered in any show shall remain in the same status as entered in all rings even though they have qualified for another status during the show.
- Entries, regardless of class, shall be accepted as received by the entry clerk, and no class shall be discriminated against by limiting the number of entries in that class in any show.
Kittens: All kittens must be born between xxx and xxx to show on Friday, January 30. Born between xxx and xxx to show on Saturday January 31. Born between xxx and xxx to show on Sunday February 1.
Classifications: Cats are classified as Kittens, Adults, or Alters (Championship), Kittens or Adults (Household Pets), and ANB/PNB (both kittens and adults). Kittens are 4 to 8 calendar months of age; adults must be 8 calendar months of age on the opening day of the show.
Show Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering this show, ALL exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and Show Committee. Liability: TICA Show Rules 29.1.1.2: It is expressly stipulated that neither the Show Management, nor any member of the club, sponsor of the show nor TICA and its officers can be held liable for the loss of, or accident to the cats, carriers, or other personal property of any exhibitor. Neither the It's Reigning Cats Club, Holiday Inn, the City of Portland nor TICA may be held liable for loss, theft or damage to animals or personal property of exhibitors or their guests.
